8-The sirens

Odyssey Book 12

They approach the island of the sirens. As circle told Odysseus he puts wax in the ears of his men and tells them to attach him to the mast of the ship. Odysseus men have to tighten Odysseus to the boat a few times as he tries to escape. When they are past the sirens, Odysseus men unattached him from the boat and take the wax out of their ears.

The place in the real world

Tyrrhenian Sea not far from the island of Capri.

Proof and evidences

The massive rocks over there, could be were the sirens were waiting and singing as homer described.
